Like the rest of the world, the USML Office of Student Involvement employees began working from home in March 2019, not knowing when we would all be together next. A few weeks into quarantine, we recognized a desire among both the staff and student populations to stay connected with other people within their communities. From this realization, the idea for the USML Employees Quarantined Vlog was born. Office of Student Involvement and Millennium Student Center staff were given instructions for filming their new quarantined lifestyle over the course of a day or two, and that footage was compiled into videos which average about 13 minutes long each.

These videos served as a purpose to digitally reunite UMSL students with staff, to encourage students during a challenging time in their college careers, and provide comedic relief.

The UMSL Employees Quarantined vlog series spans 15 episodes produced, filmed, and edited from April - November 2019.
